Get it running
Activating takes the email you bought with and the key from your licence email. If Astral Adapt does not show up in your DAW, find your DAW below.
Activate
- Add Astral Adapt to a track. It is listed under Astral.
- In the licence panel, enter the email you bought with and the key from your licence email.
- Click Activate. The first activation needs an internet connection.
“That email and licence key do not match.” Use the email you checked out with: it is the address your licence email was sent to (its “To” line). Capital letters do not matter. Paste the key without spaces before or after it.
Closed the licence panel? It is under the … menu, then Licence.
You can activate on up to 3 computers.
It does not show up in my DAW
A DAW that was running during the install will not see the plug-in until it restarts. Start there.
Logic Pro and GarageBand
Quit and reopen. Logic checks new plug-ins when it starts. Look under Audio FX, then Astral. Still missing in Logic Pro: Logic Pro, Settings, Plug-in Manager, select Astral Adapt, then Reset & Rescan Selection.
Ableton Live
Settings, then Plug-ins. Turn on the VST3 system folder (and Audio Units on a Mac), then click Rescan.
FL Studio
Options, Manage plugins, then Find more plugins.
REAPER
Preferences, Plug-ins, VST, then Re-scan.
Cubase, Studio One and others
Restart the DAW. If it is still missing, rescan from the DAW’s plug-in manager.
Not supported
- Pro Tools. There is no AAX version.
- Intel Macs. The Mac version runs on Apple Silicon only.
- A DAW set to “Open using Rosetta”. In Finder, select your DAW, choose Get Info, and untick it.
- On Windows: VST3 only, 64-bit.
“Windows protected your PC”
Click More info and check that the publisher reads Astral Audio LLC, then click Run anyway. If it names anyone else, do not run it, and tell us.
Lost your licence email?
Enter the email you bought with. If it bought Astral Adapt in the last 30 days, we send the same key again, to that address only.
Bought more than 30 days ago, or nothing arrived? Email licensing@astralaudioai.com from the address you bought with and we’ll issue a replacement key.
