Installing on macOS

  1. Download the installerAstralAdapt-0.8.6-macOS.dmg · 6.6 MB
  2. Open the disk imageDouble-click the downloaded .dmg file.
  3. Run the Astral Adapt installerIt installs the AU and VST3 versions where your DAW expects them. You will be asked for your Mac password once.
  4. Open or restart your DAWA DAW that was already running will not see a newly installed plugin until it restarts.
  5. Add Astral Adapt to a trackIt appears under Astral in your plugin list.
  6. Enter the licence from your emailThe licence panel opens by itself the first time. Enter the email you bought with and the key we emailed you. Stuck? Setup help.

Installing on Windows

  2. Run the installerDouble-click the downloaded .exe. Windows asks for permission once, and the publisher reads Astral Audio LLC.
  3. Open or restart your DAWA DAW that was already running will not see a newly installed plugin until it restarts.
  4. Add Astral Adapt to a trackIt appears under Astral in your plugin list.
  5. Enter the licence from your emailThe licence panel opens by itself the first time. Enter the email you bought with and the key we emailed you. Stuck? Setup help.

If Windows shows a notice. Check the signature rather than dismissing it: the publisher reads Astral Audio LLC, and you can confirm the same name on the file itself — right-click the .exe, choose Properties, then Digital Signatures. If it reads anything else, do not install it, and tell us.
